Learn how to do outside throws

EMIL LAMPRECHT: In this section, we're going to show you your first trick. Now, the easiest trick that I know of with three balls is a "reverse throw" which is basically just taking what you're doing and switching it around. It looks something like this. Now, the difference in that throw is that instead of going under the incoming ball, it's going outside of it. These are called "outside throws". Now, once you are able to do one or two on each side, always practice on both sides, you can start to alternate them. This is called "juggler's tennis". And if you have it down really solid, you can do it constantly in what's called the "reverse cascade". Now again, I must emphasize short controlled runs. If you start doing this and are just going until you're dropping and running around wildly chasing balls, it's going to be much harder to make the trick solid than if you just do one at a time. One at a time and recover, one at a time and recover, one at a time and recover. Once you have one down, add two on each side or start juggler's tennis. And then eventually, you can work your way up to this in short controlled runs. Once you have this down, it makes for some interesting possibilities when learning other tricks.
