Vitamins & Minerals for Your Dog

Hi, I'm Jim Leske, and this is my good friend, Tess. Together we're animal trainers and behaviorists for Expert Village. Tess has been a very loyal friend, but she's getting up there in years, and modern day veterinary medicine is helping her greatly, and that's what we're here to talk to you today about. I have many of my clients who remember Tess from last year, when her health was failing and she wasn't doing well at all. Today they see her and they're very pleasantly surprised at seeing such a healthy, active 10-year-old dog. Ten is a guess. She is currently under heart medication, and it's very important that she gets it everyday. Without it, she would probably die within a week. Also, she gets a vitamin supplement, Glucosamine, which is very similar to human arthritis medication. Both of these things help her out greatly to live a pain-free, healthy quality of life, and continue on to be my loyal and trusted friend. Without the veterinary's care, we probably would have had to put her down last year. But as you can see, with good food, regular exercise, as well as the medications and the vitamins are helping her out tremendously. Again, veterinary medicine has made many changes and has made many great advancements over the years. So remember, they are wonderful opportunities. Take your dog to the veterinarian and get them the medications so that they continue to be long and healthy, loving pets of yours. I'm Jim Leske and this is Tess, and we hope you go and see your vet on a regular basis. For Expert Village, thank you.
