Installing a Bar Support

Today we’re installing a custom bar support. We’ve already leveled the entire thing and we have cut and installed a filler board in the back, right there. And then what we want to do is take out this temporary little clamp here. Screwing it so that it’s not in the way, and then slide over the cosmetic piece to where it should be. And we have pre-selected screws that we’re going to use right there in the top, and we’re also going to put one in the bottom here. And as we go along we want to put three screws in the center along here, just make sure that you have the support well secured. Prior to even installing a support, we had to install two by fours behind this area and the area down there to hold these supported members tightly into the bar itself. And that’s how you would install a bar support.
