How to Measure the Guitar Strap

I'm Candi-Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to measure your guitar to create your cool, quilted guitar strap. So there's two ways to do it. The first one is to actually put your guitar on with an existing strap. And you take your measuring tape and this, of course, is a lot easier if you have a friend to help you. And you just measure from one peg coming around to the other. And you take that measurement. The other way is to just measure a pre-existing guitar strap. For this particular one, we're actually not going to be making it adjustable. It's just going to be one size. So just take the most comfortable measurement, and measure from one side, not including the little tab, to the other. And from that measurement, you know how long to make your guitar strap.
