I'm Candi Cane-Canncel with Expert Village. So today's project is how to make a fabulous, quilted guitar strap. In order to do this, what you're going to need is a guitar. And if you have a pre-existing strap, that's even better because then you can just go ahead and use that to measure. You're going to need fabric for the guitar strap. And in this case, I'm using a kind of worn, snake print vinyl. But another good fabric that would be great for it is a sturdy denim. I'm using a kind of worn snake skin vinyl for the main part of the strap, and then I'm also going to use some really cool turquoise felt for the appliques. You're also going to want something that's really sturdy for the guitar tabs. Either a heavy duty vinyl, leather or what I have is a fabric backed satin that's just a really thick, durable type of fabric. So next I'm going to show you how to measure your guitar strap.
