Petri Dish Designs for Making a Kaleidoscope

Hi my name is Elliott Kwong on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to make a kaleidoscope. Now when I made my petri dish I decided to put some beads inside. But you don't have to limit yourself to just finding beads. Try to look around your house and find other things that you can put in. Such as little necklaces or little trinkets, stuff like that. Here I have other stuff in here which is especially good. I have a the beaded necklaces, little flowers with dice in here, another flower. Just little things that might make a pattern look good. Also what you can do is you can take your petri dish and like this one right here and you can get some pens and you can start drawing designs on them. Then you just make a lot of colorful patterns on them. Then when you put it into a kaleidoscope it will make a lot of cool patterns. You can find other things such as like coins, coins are especially good, that would make a good pattern. Just be creative and think about it I'm sure you can find a whole bunch of things that would make really good designs and patterns.
