Hi my name is Elliott Kwong on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to make a kaleidoscope. So when I have my beads or whatever I choose to put into the petri dish with the little colors and patterns. I don't want it jiggling around all like this, what I want to do is create some cardboard guides. What do I mean by this? I mean like maybe you can cut some cardboard and make it like a shape of a triangle. Make it so it fits in it that way the beads fit in that area. So it is more guided. So right here I have a cardboard guide it is basically the same width as the mirrors that I cut 3.1 centimeters. What I want to do actually is take some hot glue from the hot glue gun. Take the edges and glue it a little bit. Once I have the edges glued I can take the petri dish and stick it and make sure it is pretty lined in there. Just hold it down for a little bit and then it should be sticking. Then I'm going to take my beads in here and I'm going to put it into the area inside the triangle. That would be good. Once I have the beads in there then I can take my second petri dish my cap and I can put it over. So it would fit like so and then I can take another blank of tape then just tape the edges like this. Finishes it off like this.
