Cutting the Mirror for a Kaleidoscope

Hi my name is Elliott Kwong on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to teach you how to make a kaleidoscope. I have a glass cutter here; this is a glass cutter that you can get a glass and mirror shop. It is relatively inexpensive actually I got mine for about $5. So let's try this baby! So let's measure this 3.1 centimeters right there. Measure 3.1 centimeters right here. Take the straight edge ruler, line it up and run the glass cutter through it. Like so. Then we are going to take this I'm going to break this off. We are going to have to make 3 of these okay 1,2,3.
