How to Apply Foundation Makeup on Men

Hi, I'm Michelle Renee from the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group here in Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how to apply makeup for men. Logan looks nice and fresh and rested. We've covered up the dark circles around his eyes. Now I just want to even out his skin tone. He has a few nicks here and there and I'll cover up the five o'clock shadow with light foundation. Now for men you just want to make sure that it's not heavy, it's thin and sheer so it looks natural. So, like I said you can use your hands to apply. I like to use a brush and what I'm gonna do is place my brush on my hands. You're gonna tap it the forehead. Do a little tap on the cheeks. And then if you do not have any facial here, I've give a little tap at the chin. So you're gonna go in and just with long brushes even out your skin tones. Now when you come to the beard area you want to make sure that you go in the direction of the hairs which is down. To make it look even more natural you can even bring it down through the jaw line. An important tip especially for men is to make sure your right foundation blends in from your face through to the jaw line and the neck. Place color throughout the face making sure that it is even. Don't forget the nose and creases of the nose. Go in the direction of the hair. Down through the jaw line on the neck. Logan looks even and fresh and well rested and that's foundation.
