Equipment Needed for Pumpkin Bread
Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail. On behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make this delicious spicy pumpkin bread. Next I like to talk about what equipment you're going to need for making our pumpkin bread. Now first of all you won't need anything special most of everything you should already have in your kitchen. You won't need a standing mixture or any other types of electrical equipment just use some elbow grease in order to get everything done. So first of all you'll need a couple of different size mixing bowls; we are going to mix up the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately. So you want to have a couple of bowls to put them in. You'll also need a small bowl because you'll be soaking the raisins and orange juice in order to plump them up a little bit so you want to have that separate. You'll need a variety of measuring spoons; these are to measure out your spices, you have a lot of spices so several measuring spoons. You also need a measuring cup you'll just need a one cup because both the sugar and flour are nice even amounts, a wooden spoon this is just really great for mixing. They are cheap, sturdy, you can use them for cooking, baking just a really great idea to have several wooden spoons in your kitchen. You'll need a spatula for scraping the bowl out, a small cutting board and a chefs knife for chopping up the walnuts, and then last but not least two 4 X 8 inch loaf pans. This is the amount that the recipe will hold and we'll talk a little bit later if you want to use different sizes or shapes. But for now this is the basic equipment that you will need to make the pumpkin bread.
