So now we're going to go over spreading out your voicings through two hands, and what you really want to do is space it out a lot, you don't want to play here... it doesn't sound that bad, but, it's really clumped together. Really spacing it out gives you a lot of voicings. And again you have seven notes in the scale, so really the less you double the better. So here I have one, five, seven, eleven, thirteen. So I have chordal center tones, and then color tones on the top. Of course, if you're playing with a bass player you can ... and really the best way to practice is just to hit a low chord, hold down your sustain pedal, or if you have a keyboard, you can program some walking bass, loop like a couple of measures of some walking bass and play along with it. But really having that bass note in there helps you to hear the tone center, and then you can move around and start discovering your own voicings as you go through and explore in this scale.
