How to Voice an Bb7 Chord

So now, we briefly touched upon B flat seven in the last segment, but now, we're going to really take a look at it, and again we make B flat our root, right, then we have one, three, five, seven, and then we have nine, eleven, thirteen here. So we have this new block chord. And again you can play it here and then mess around with the voicings. Really move around, see what you like personally. And again, the fourth, you can play in this chord, but it gives it a different chord quality instead of playing a B flat seven you're playing a B flat sus. So even though I'm playing the same chords and I'm outlining the same block chord, it gives it a whole different tinge. So that's outlining the fourth note of the scale, or the eleventh. So, when you're voicing, you still want to avoid the eleventh, unless you want to get that sus sound, and it doesn't sound bad.
