How to Clean Professional Irons

Hi, I'm Marti on behalf of expertvillage.com and we are going to talk about how to clean your iron. This iron is made specifically to steam clothing. I have my paste here and I'm going to scrub you can see the starch coming off a couple of places of here that are a little bit stubborn. It's really best to maintain your iron so you don't have to go through this process. Some of the things to consider when you're buying a iron is the exact number and location of the steam ducts it will make your job a lot easier. Back in the old days they use to have heavy heavy iron weighted irons that they would put on a stove over firing heat and that is how they would heat up. Today we have all these electronics that makes our jobs a lot easier remember I'm working on a hot iron you don't want to do this when it's hot.
