Questions & AnswersSo now that we have our two minor and our five-seven down, we can play what's called a two-five, where we go from our two to our five, and that leads to our one. So, I'll do two measures of two, two measures of five, two measures of one, then one measure of two, one measure of five, one measure of one, and then a half a measure each. And you'll see a difference in the sound, and you'll see how I get into that root, and how I lead into it, and I'll call it out. So I got two, five, one, two, five, one, two, five, one, two, five, one, two, five, one. And I did one to the minor third, right, now I where my minor third is. So you can go through and walk these two-fives, and this is a basic vocabulary for so many jazz tunes, and you should go through and learn your two-fives in all twelve keys, and you'll be swinging in no time.
