Playing Half-Measure Drum Fills Using the Toms

Hi my name is Phil Pelphrey on behalf of Expert Village and today’s topic is popular drum fills. This fill I’m about to show you is a half measure fill and it uses just the tom’s. Specifically it uses the lower of the two toms’; this tom right here as well as the floor tom. In addition to just showing you that fill, I will also show you the exact same fill and utilize the crash symbol.
