Balance Beam Exercises for Preschool Gymnastics

Hello! My name is Sibylle Walters from Flairs Gymnastics in Davie, Florida. You can find us on the web at www.flairsgymnastics.com. Now, we are going to show you how to teach balance beam to the young students. Walking on the beam teaches young children how to balance, place their feet correctly, one in front of the other. They'll do it with the teacher helping. You, standing close by, so that they don't fall off, okay, that teaches them how to focus… your arms go to the side… very nice Gabby… excellent. They're doing it by themselves, so they get a little bit of help. Okay, now they are going to walk sideways, sideways, step feet together, Gabby, step feet together, step feet together, okay you made it.
