How to Play "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by Scorpion

Hey, this is Joe Wiles, with the Rock and Roll Conservatory, on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, we're talking about "Rock You like a Hurricane", by the Scorpions. It's really easy, it's a power chord based riff. Let's take a look at the guitar. We're going to start out with an E power chord, your index finger's going to be on the seventh fret of the A-String, ring on the ninth fret of the D-String, and pinkie on the ninth fret of the G-String. This is going to open up the song. OK? Then we're going to slide down, same power chord, on the third fret of the E-String, index third fret E-String, ring finger fifth fret A-String, pinkie fifth fret D-String. Slide the form up to one, two. This is the next chord. right around the A-String. Index finger third fret A-String, ring finger fifth fret D-String, pinkie fifth fret G-String. This is the last chord, two frets up. Slowly, it sounds like this. To speed, it sounds like this. That's a good power chord workout for moving your hand back and forth across the neck with that power chord form. In our next segment, we're going to talk about "La Grange", by ZZ Top. So grow out your beards, I'll see you there.
