Questions & AnswersHey! This is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, we're going to talk about Slow Ride by Foghat. We're going to focus on the introductory riff. It's pretty easy. Let's take a look at the guitar. The setup to this is an open A power cord. Basically, you're going to be playing an open A string. You're going to be fretting the second fret of your D string and the second fret of your G string. We're going to be mostly focusing on those 3 strings. They sound like this together. The song is played like this. After a couple of strums, you're going to come up here and use your middle finger to hit the third fret of the A string. Keep your power cord handy.
