Summary of Chopping Vegetables

Well you can see, we've been very busy today. I hope that you learned some tips and secrets with my series catering tips 101. We chopped up a myriad of beautiful squashes and zucchinis and carrots and mushrooms that are going to go in a delicious saute that I'm going to make. We chopped up some red onion. I have white onion too, but we didn't chop those. I have gorgeous cucumbers that can be used for appetizers or snacks. We did shallots and minced them nice and fine. We cut up broccoli into little florets for soups and for crudites. We minced garlic. We cut gorgeous yams, sweet potatoes, that we are going to roast in a little while. We cut some beautiful, fragrant basil. Boy it smells great. We shredded and minced ginger which can be used in so many of the different dishes and we sliced up some lovely radishes. I hope you learned some tips and I hope you'll come back and enjoy another session of catering 101. Tips for you for easy, fun kitchen explorations.
