The Butter Knife: Basic Knife Care

Hi! This is John again. Now let’s talk about one of the safest knives that has ever been developed. This is your common everyday butter knife. No other knife you could ever do this and not worry about getting cut. This has no edge to this blade. This is used primarily for cutting butter off a butter stick and spreading this on a piece of bread, or anywhere you don’t need to cut it into something but just need to take and dip something out and spread it. There’s not much you need to do to keep this knife in good shape. You just need to keep it clean and free from rust.
