Tools for Replacing Car Headlights & Taillights
Hi! my name is Danny, in today’s video I am going to teach you how to repair and maintain headlights and taillights. Our first step is to gather the needed tools for this project. For this example we will only need a Phillips head screwdriver, a standard head screwdriver plus a small shop or hand towel. Open your engine hood and locate the bulb behind the headlight housing. On this 2001 Honda, the main headlight bulb is located on the driver side near the washer fluid reservoir. With your fingers grasp the bulb and connector, then twist counterclockwise a quarter turn, once loose, remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
