How to Make an Origami Pig
Hi! I am Michael Webb on behalf of Expert Village.com. Right now we are going to be making a pig. Now to do this, what you want to do is just make a valley fold right across the middle from edge-to-edge; and you make that crease, open it back up and take each edge and move it in towards the center of that fold, and make a good firm crease; and do that for both edges. Now you want to take each one of these corners and do a fold, like so; and you are just going to make that crease and open that up; and you are going to do a fold here, so that comes down into a triangle. Now you will just do that for the other side as well. Now you have got sort of a square with two diamonds on each side. Now what you are going to want to do is go ahead and fold this in half and take each edge here and fold it down; and these are going to form the legs. Now to make the tail, we are going to go to the back end and we are going to do an inside reverse fold. You want to take a fold here from the base to the leg, up to about a third of the way down on this edge of the triangle and crease it on both sides; and you want to make another down here on the bottom third and flip that up; and do the same for reverse. Now you just simply bring this in and that is going to make your tail. Now you want to do something a little bit similar for the snout. Just take this edge and turn it up so that you can kind of see that that edge is poking out over this line; do the same on the reverse and then just fold that in. There you his snout and that is a pig.
