The S-play mode stands for "Song Play Mode." In this mode you can play your songs, add effects to them and change them up anyway you like. To get to the song play mode, you just press the 'S. Play' button; it's going to bring you to a song play menu. From this one you can choose the file and you can choose the actual MIDI file or the sequence you just created within your sequence mode. From this screen, you can actually go to 'preferences', or no, you can go to 'menu' and click either track to affect different track parameters, control setup parameters, you can actually select directories where you want to bring files in from, the arpeggiator, insert effect and the master effect. Within this insert effect, you can actually insert effects to any one of the tracks or insert a master effect on the entire track itself. This is very good for mastering your tracks and changing the EQ of your final overall mix.
