Next thing I'm going to show you how to is how to record and how to edit your tracks after you've recorded them. in order to record it you just need to press the record button. You need to arm the recording and press start and play. In order to record you have to press the record/write button and the start and stop button. Usually you have to press the locate button to bring it back all the way to the end. You can also remind it to bring it all the way to the beginning as well. When you record and after you record, you can also effect everything you recorded by going to the menu button and pressing the P5 block. After you've done that there's a bunch of different parameters you can do by pressing the track edit button at the top right. You can event edit the tracks. It's almost like a step sequencer where you can effect of the MIDI events one at a time. You can also step record. Copy the track. You can copy measures, delete measure, quantize, shift notes, modify velocity. You can set locations and you can also set the song length.
