How to Apply Pressed Powder: Makeup Makeovers

Hi, I'm Kate Shepherd on behalf of Expert Village and today I'll be showing you a face make over. So, next we're gonna be using a press powder for Sherri. I'm gonna be using a sponge for this which is really really ideal for using a press powder to set any makeup. This is just a translucent and what I'm gonna do is just press it into the skin. You'll notice that I'm using a little bit of force when doing this and that definitely okay. This is gonna help even more to absorb the makeup into the skin so it will not move throughout the day. Any where that you put concealer, underneath her eyes or any you know discoloration you definitely want to target that powder. Because without that, your concealer I can guarantee that it will move throughout the day. So, I'm just pressing it in all over the face or of course any where that you feel that you need it. This is just a translucent powder; this isn't gonna give her any color or coverage; it's just meant to set her makeup. I think sometimes people misuse powder thinking that it will give them coverage; so they really pack it on. Unless it's a powder foundation it won't do that for you.
