Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to show you today how to draw a snowman cartoon for this holiday season. Alrighty so let's take some brown and we color in our arms here. And we are just kind of following the lines we have already set out for ourselves. We do this on both sides here. You notice I mean I am not worrying about too much of the fine details now. You can kind of go back over that later on. One of the brightest colors you are going to have is on your nose. I recommend a smaller felt orange pen for this. I mean if you did a lot of drawing around Halloween don't be ashamed to use the exact same color as a pumpkin cause actually that is very very close to true carrot color. Then we are going to want to come in here I recommend an incredible dark blue or a dark black for the hat. And for the hat I tend to make it a little more severe. I want it to stand out a little bit more than some of the other items on our snow person. The other thing to use is purple. Purple for the scarf is great. Purple and the orange really off set each other well and then our snow person has a very very bright article of clothing. They don't have a whole lot of clothing on. So I mean it's kind of nice that you have a really bright flash. And we are going to color this in all the way solid and then you can outline in either a darker purple color or in black. You know it is kind of up to your digression in terms of the exact color scheme you want, but I have actually had purples and violets work very very well for scarves. You can put in patterns here. You can do all sorts of different things with your scarf. Then again use your imagination here. As much as these steps are trying to guide you don't ever think you know you don't have a lot of creative discretion as your own personal artist, cause you are. Anybody who is doing this is an artist. Lastly the eyes. Get a good black here. Again this is the only areas we are going to kind of be a little careful. You kind of want to generally stick with your circle. So try and stick with that. Try and keep the eyes relatively the same shape. They don't have to be perfect but they should be close. And a little black circles for a smiling mouth. Then I usually like to do kind of a little quick black outline for the buttons.
