Hi! This is Tamir Elterman on behalf of expertvillage.com and in this clip we will be talking about the dimensions of the lacrosse field. This big rectangle you see here is what we call the Lacrosse field. It is 70 yards long and 40 yards wide. Sometimes it can be played on a normal football field. This line right here is what we refer to as the mid-line. This X is where with all face offs take place. This dotted line you see here which forms a box is called the restraining box. We are not going to worry so much about what that is? Because it is more on the advance level. This circle right here is called the crease and it is 6 feet in diameter and this little line you see right here is where the goal goes facing outward. This circle we see which is the crease, it is the goalieās safe haven. Once he makes the save and has the ball in his position he has four seconds to get out of there but during those four seconds he cannot be touched or checked by any player.
