Questions & AnswersSo, today we are going over how to make hip hop beats on "Korg Triton", and they will sound a little bit like this one. If you want you can skip back to the last track, and you will hear the actual beat we make today. We have not made it yet so, I am just giving you another beat, as an example. We are going to go through and show you how to go in and manually punch in different bass and drums. We will show you how to "loop it", we will show you how to go in and add effects. We will show you how to copy measures; we will give you a run through of just the overall process it takes to make a hip hop sequence beat. Then when we are done with all that, we will show you how to play with it live and you can go through, I will give you some references to go through and look up some "jazz piano" voicing?s, I also do "jazz piano". You can add some of that stuff in there as well and practice your own techniques as we go through and we look at these different hip hop styles. Now, you can hear that I have a lot of different effects on here, going in the background, but it has the same overlying bass loop and drum loop. I will show you how to add all these things and how to loop everything and how to make longer loops in this quick sixteen minute segment.
