Hi! Thank you for visiting expertvillage.com. My name is Yvette Parrish. Actually I am a flamenco entertainer and instructor in San Antonio, Texas. One of the basic mistakes that people make when they pronounce flamenco, they say flamingo, don’t they Robin? It is flamenco. The word men is in the word so that is the easy way to remember it. Flamenco and its origins are from Spain. It is a beautiful dance. I have been dancing for over four years professionally and publically and I just love it, throughout Texas and San Antonio and I run with a dance group called Viva Flamenco de San Antonio and we dance for schools, corporate events, downtown for fiesta, The River Walk and we have so much fun. I also teach at Synergy Dance Company six classes a week and from ages 5 to 50 are my students. So it is a love for flamenco. I know as soon as you try it you are going love it. Remember it is power, it is pride, it is strength, it is very, it is a little bit mysterious and always be a lady and as lady like. But I am doing professionally as La Reina Latina, it is of a health and pageant titles in the past including Miss Ethnic World. I was Mrs Texas 2003, so somehow La Reina Latina kind of stuck for me and that is my professional stage name. But you are going to call me Ms. Yvette. If you would like to see more videos and hundreds of pictures on my website you go to www.texaslatina. com. And it is a whole word, Texas is spelled it out and Latina is latina.com. All my informations is on there.
