Chopping Broccoli for Neopolitan Vegetarian Lasagna

Hi! This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village and today we will be talking about making Neopolitan Vegetarian Lasagna. And now we are going to talk about cutting fresh broccoli for our Lasagna. Buy a whole bunch and go ahead and take the rubber band off. I am first going to cut a stalk off. Some people like to cook them, some don't. It is really up to you if you want to use it. You could just keep it and chop it up or just throw it away. What you want to do is cut each of the individual florets off. As you can see on this one, there is a little bit more stalk and if you want to get rid of that, just cut the stalk off and the florets fall apart. Same with over here. If the pieces are a little bit too big, you can always just cut this in half or quarter if you want to but make sure that the smaller you cut it, the more likely it is to fall apart. There you go; pieces about that small.
