Printing Options for a Children's Book
Hi! I’m Angela Sage Larsen. On behalf of expertvillage.com, today, we’re going to talk about publishing your own children’s story. Please visit my website at petalwinkthefairy.com. Since you’re the publisher of your story, it’s important to determine which printing option best suits your story. Now for Petalwink Learns to Fly, I went the traditional route, which was having a professional printer to print and bind the book. However, there are three different options. There is the traditional route, there is the online route, which is print on demand, where you can actually go to a website, send in your digital files and they will print and publish the book for you. Or of course there is your own desktop computer printer, where you are literally your own publisher. There are a couple of different things that you want to think about, quality, quantity, timeline, availability, and of course, the big one cost.
