What about a person with longer hair? Turning to the outside of the elbow, doesn't really eliminate the tangle of fingers and hair...?

Self defense video: hair grabs
People that grab your hair are normally grabbing onto your hair for control. It’s a handle they can move you around with it. This is dangerous because every time he pulls onto my hair it hurts and breaks my concentration. Alright. I want to grab hold of his hand and push down as hard as I can so that whenever he pulls that I, even though he’s still moving around, I’m not allowing his hand to pull my hair and cause pain. My hand’s being up also protects me incase he decides to start throwing punches or anything else that might also follow up. While I’m here I can choose to kick him to use my long range weapons to straighten out his arm. Turning to the outside of the body will help me get away. Turning to the inside will only help him hurt me more. Remember, go to the outside of the elbow with your arm, come down, trapping it, don’t let go, because you can feel this. Hold him down so you can keep control of his arm. Striking or going to one of his previous moves is also a good idea.
