How to Pick a Theme for a Christmas Tree

Hello, my name is Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village today we are going to be talking about how to elegantly decorate your Christmas tree. In this clip let's talk about how to elegantly decorate your tree using a theme. Now there are sorts of different types of themes, but lets focus on color first and for most. You have seen behind here the colors that we have been focusing on, on this tree are burgandy and gold predominately. We've also got some copper as well as sort of a bronze color balls. But also some greens in here and of course our tree is green too, but what your are not seeing is silver or blue. So, what you do is pick a couple of colors and go with that as a theme. So, you can pick that, with in this case flowers, ribbons, the bows themselves, the decorations. Some people use a theme like a country theme for instance and use allot of wooden balls or wooden ornaments. So, what ever you do, pick something a theme and work with it. Have a purpose or a reason why you're putting the balls the ornaments on the tree not just a mish mash of ornaments and decorations.
