Everyday Gestures in Mime

I'm Mark Wenzel with Expert Village. We are showing you how to be a mime. Here are mimes that everyone does. Everyone does mime when you wave at someone it's a mime. When you shake a fist at someone it's a mime, when you raise your hand in class it means I know something, it's a mime. When you see the baseball player (baseball pitcher) and the catcher all signaling back and forth these are mimes they give you an idea, when you go to a football game and he blows the whistle and does different things with this hands so everyone can know it's a mime. The things people do in everyday life, when you see the politician given thumbs up it's a mime, when you see someone hitchhiking on the side of the road it's a mime, when you get 80,000 people in a grand stand all doing the wave if you got on the PA system "hey we want everyone to pretend to do some panda mime", they wouldn't do it. But you get everyone to pretend to do be something that they are not and they all do the wave in the grand stand and it looks like a wave. These are things that people do in everyday, we all know what that means you don't have to say anything so these gestures and mime things go back thousands and thousands of years. Don't get hung up, there are all sorts of like you know I just hug myself but you watch people and you watch how they deal with their families and you watch the gestures that they make and you realize there is mimes that everyone does.
