Hi I am Adolph Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village today I will show you how to clean a shower head. After soaking the shower head in the vinegar for the better part of the day, use a small brush or a toothbrush to scrub away any softened deposits. It may be required to leave it overnight. Basically what I do, I like to leave it overnight if possible, if you do not need to use your shower right away that will help soften up all of these mineral deposits and loosen up any debris that may be inside. Also at this point you may want to check for wear and tear and make sure everything is functioning properly, that you do not see any worn out parts or anything like that because if so you may have to replace those parts or you can just simply replace the head but it is always better to just replace the part if the head is not that old. Usually this solution here will resolve the problem with your restricted water flow. Another thing you can do if it is not working fast enough, you can also take your solution and put it in the microwave or the stove and just warm it up a little bit. You do not want it hot or anything like that, but just warm it up and that will also help dissolve some of the mineral deposits on the showerhead. Again vinegar is a very good product. It is probably one of the cheapest and best cleaning agents that we have around and it is natural. The acidic property it has helps remove all that water stain and mineral deposit. Basically what we are going to do now is that this thing has been sitting here overnight, maybe twelve hours or so and we are going to take a little brush, I mentioned it earlier, a little soft or old toothbrush works just perfect and what you want to do is just scrape away any of the softened deposits and that will get rid of some of the superficial minerals that we have on top. Also you may want to poke out any holes that you see that are clogged and you may want to just take your scribe and poke out the holes individually. It is pretty simple to do. As you can see it is already starting to look better. That is basically all we are going to do as far as cleaning it with this solution.
