And in this clip we going to talk about one of the ways to help alleviate at least temporarily the pain from arthritis and that is there are a myriad of over the counter painkiller medications that you can actually buy in your local pharmacies your drug stores so here i have some samples to look at and the brand acetaminophen, Ibuprophen the Advil, and the Tylenol and aspirin is really good these all have anti-inflammatory cause arthritis is a chronic inflammation of the joints. So that would help with the inflammation and also there are pain killers these all have pain killer effects. So you can take this when the flare ups are really pretty bad and to cope with the pain. But always remember that when you are looking at dosage that you give the right dosage for the individuals so the age groups the age and also the elderly people the less able to tolerate high doses of medication especially if they have chronic diseases and they are immuno-suppressed so on and so forth so you have to be very careful. Another suggestion is that you can go to Chinese medicine but before you take anything that is alternative medication and drugs or herbal remedies you should always consult your medical doctor first to get their advice. One of the nice medicine actually work for the pain is called Tiger Balm, this is something that you can readily buy at the Chinese doctor. Its just basically a cream that you apply on the area that you feel pain or inflamed it helps to a give a soothing effect and also it help alleviate the pain temporally. So, Tiger Balm is actually, I use a lot for myself and I find it works. So these are just some of the ways that you can actually help to alleviate some of the pain when you have a particular bad flare up from arthritis.

I commend you, Dr., for making these videos & showing the care that you do. I am a 38 y/o male & I have SEVERE osteoarthritis; in my hips, my back, my knees - every joint & bone in my body hurts. I have not found much that helps. I am on Fentanyl right now & the side effects are unbearable, but, it takes the pain away. I don't know what else to do. You have given me some great ideas to try. Thank you & I'll keep watching ! Stephen
