How to Use Anti-Inflammatory Cream for Osteoarthritis

Hello my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of expert village today I am going to talk to you about subject of osteoarthritis. Now in the series of clips we are going to talk how osteoarthritis is formed but we're also going to look at ways of alleviate the pain from osteoarthritis. Now in this clip I am going to tell you about readily available products in the health food store or in the pharmacy that you could buy to help temporarily relieve the pain from osteoarthritis. here lets look at what I have here is a spray form pain of a pain medication that you can actually buy and what you do is you can just spray over the areas affected areas that you are experiencing the pain and it will give you temporary relief. Other forms are topical creams and here's a particular topical cream that you can just put on your skin or the joints of the area that is effected but always when you use these you got to make sure that you put rubber glove on before you apply it because you don't want to put it with your hand on and forget to wash your hand and you are going to touch your eyes and nose and your going to get a real painful reaction from that so wear rubber glove when you are using topical creams for pretty much the skin on the affected area because it contains a particular substance called capzasin, capzasin has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and it also effects to decrease pain its like a pain killer and so this is available in the drug store in the shelves over the counter that you could use that to put over the pain or the effected arthritis so like I said there are readily available products out there and depending on where you go and prices will all vary which will help you temporary relief from the pain.
