Upright Bass in F: Walking Progressions

So now we're going to take those first four measures we learned and we're going to add our four measures. So we have a G minor here, a C seven, and then F major for two. So we have to walk G for two measures, F for two measures, and we have to walk G, C, and then F for two measures. This little squiggly line there, that just means it's the same chord for that measure. So we'll do that right now, and you'll be able to hear the basic technique here we got G, F, G, C, F, G, F, G, C, F, G, F, G, C, F, and that's your basic procedure, for walking these chords. And again I just voice lead, and then made sure I always hit the root of the chord I'm playing, on the downbeat of those particular measures.
