So now again, we want to number our scale from one through seven. So we start here on C right. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one. And we can play this high C if you can find it. So the octave right there, you can find it. One, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. And then go down, seven, six, five, four, three, four, five, six, seven, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one...So that's your C major scale, and again notice on our seventh we have our major third right, not our minor third which would be here, right, it would be this...we have our major third. One, three, five. One, three, five, and we have our flat seventh and the flat seventh is what defines your seventh scale. And that's why it's called a seventh scale. And that's your C seven scale, and you number it from one to seven.
