Upright Bass in Gb: Walking 2 5

So now that we have our A flat minor and our D flat seven down, we can walk what's called the two-five, right. So if we start on G flat we got two, three, four, five, right. So our two was our A flat minor, and our five was our D flat seven. So that's why it's called a two-five, it leads into the one. So I'm going to count out, I'm going to go A flat minor, three, four, D flat seven, three, four, G. So we got A flat, D flat, G flat, A flat, D flat, G. Two, five, one...two, five, two, five, two, five, one, two, five, one, two, five, one. Or you can do it chromatically. Two, five, one, six, two, five, one. So that's your basic concept for your two-fives in G flat major.
