So now that we have our A flat pattern and we numbered it one through seven, we can start in adding some chromatic notes, and start walking our bebop lines. And again, you just want to make sure you always land up on A flat, so I'll do two measures of A flat, and then one measure. So one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four, one... it's fun to go up high, see if you can it intonation. It's a good exercise too; just walk A flat to A flat... on one string. So we're moving a little more on the fretboard, but that's okay. You had to get that down as well.
