So now that we have our scale down and we can walk it one through seven we're ready to do a little Beebop. I'll show you what problem comes up when we play through our scale right? We want to play two measures right? Eight beats? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, four, eight and I land on G flat a beat too early right I got to get eight beats to there. So what Beebop cats do is they just add another note in the scale chromatically. So I'll slide, I'll go. I'll add that in at the top. You can hear how much better it sounds. So you don't always have to stay within the scale pattern. It's actually hip to put a little, couple chromatic notes in there. What it really does is it helps to get you there evenly and what we're really going for is just landing on that G flat on the down beat.
