So now that we have this E major scale under our fingers, and we really want to practice that. And we want to number it from one to seven. It's a seven note scale, right. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven and then we're at one again. And we got: one, two, three, four, five, four, three, two, one, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. So it's very important to number this from one through seven because when we go through and we get our minor chord, our F sharp minor, it starts on two and goes from two to two. So it's very important you number the scale from one through seven, and you can practice it as you go up and down the scale: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one, two, three, four, five, four, three, two, one, seven, one, one. So go through and really get that scale embedded. And it really helps for you to find where these frets are on the bass as well.
