Stop & Calm Infant Colic

Welcome back my name is Alisha and I'm with Expert Village. Last and finally make sure you don't use alcohol with your children. Many people would say just drop a little bit of alcohol on their gums that would help relieve the pain. This is not a good idea. You can always just talk to your doctor for getting something for pain medicine instead using alcohol on their mouth. Sometimes the child is just over stimulated. Whether it is during the holiday times where the child is past from family member to family member sometimes all they want to do is see a familiar face. Other times it may be too noisy in a room and it is good to just turn down the music or turn off the tv all together. Other times it is just too bright in the room and the child would like to go some place dark and quiet. A lot of times once you put them in a dark and quiet area they are actually just tired and just want to take a nap. Once removed from all the stimuli they would end up falling asleep. Sometimes with the crying it is actually medical related issue whether the child has colic which can be diagnosed by a doctor or maybe they are just getting the wrong type of formula. Which would cause them to be very gassy and uncomfortable. A colic baby is usually described as a baby that cries at least 3 hours a day 3 times a week or even more.
