Mono Audio Sampling on the Akai MPC 4000

Once you've time sliced your sample and you have a new program for that time slice and you've switched all to one-shot you're going to notice that when you play your sequence in order it's going to overlap each other. So, to solve this problem we're going to switch every pad to mono. Okay, now to switch every pad to mono we're going to press F3 for the pitch and move the highlighted block to the poly column. Now we're going to press the first pad and it's going to bring up where it is on the poly column. It's going to bring up the actual pad which is C sharp one, right? And we're going to change that to one. So, that only one note will come out at a time. And we're going to do that to every single one of the pads, going one by one. So that when you play them and you play it a little bit faster than the original sequence. It's going to overlap each other and cut off the little parts that overlap.
