How to Load Samples into the Akai MPC 4000

When you're sampling there's a couple ways you can do it on the MPC. You could either sample right into the MPC or you could also load up samples from a different maybe computer or different machine used to sample from through USB or through a CD. To record a sample you press the record button on the right side of the MPC4000. The first thing you should do is select the track you're going to record and then select the input source. Whether, if you're going to be recording something from a recording player you can use the analog in. The digital in is also from the digital input of the back of the MPC. You could also record from an internal CD player or you could also load something from a USB key or a CD. On this one we're going to set this to a digital in for the CD player, which is the internal digital one. We're also going to set the time to be around a minute, so that we record around a minute long of samples and press the record button. When you're all set recording just press the stop button and you either, you can play it, keep it, or retry it.
