Game Length in Monopoly the Board Game
As I said before, a game of monopoly can often take an extremely long time. Exhaustion can be used to a player’s advantageous but could also be to irritated players and burn deals that can mess up the entire games mechanics. If you are playing with other player who may have a short tension span or if you don’t have the better part of a date to devote to a game, there are also different rules for playing a shorter game. One version of the shorter game is to simply apply a time when it’s simply agreed upon on a definite hour of determination and when time is up, the richest player wins. There is also a version which usually only takes about an hour to an hour and half. There are only five simple rule changes and they are as follows:

1.During preparation the banker shuffles the deed cards and deals three to each player. 2.You only need three houses instead of four in order to build a hotel. 3.When you are sent to jail, you must exit on the following turn. You can use any legal means to get out but you must exit even if you have to pay a $50 fine. 4.Landing on income tax results in a flat $200 fine. 5.The game ends when the first person goes bankrupt. The remaining players then value all the assets and the richest player wins.

Playing a short game can reduce frustration for players with short attention span. However, the general strategy will remain the same.
