Buying & Trading Property in Monopoly the Board Game
Hopefully if you have been following my instructions thus far, you will have a very varied portfolio of properties. Players will eventually come to you in hopes of buying or trading properties. Usually if a player comes to you with an offer, that player is trying to complete a color set. If you have that one piece of property that the player needs, then you have the advantageous at this point. Many players will go to the extreme in order to gain that piece of property. Do not let anyone smooth talk you into a trade that is not beneficial to you. Do not be afraid to reject a player's offer that you were not 100 percent happy with. If you have that title that another player needs, that person will come back even if they seem irritated. If you do decide to make a trade with a player, that will allow them to complete their color set, make sure that: number one you are also completing a color set; number two, that color set you are completing is of a lot higher value than your opponent's; and number three, that you are financially prepared to deal with the consequences when you land on the opponents potentially developed property.
