Choosing the Banker in Monopoly the Board Game
Choosing a banker is a very important aspect of the game. You have to make sure the person you select is a very trustworthy person. This may just sound like common sense but it is very important. This person should be the only one that is allowed to touch the money and also be allowed to distribute deeds, houses, and hotels. Being a banker is a huge responsibility in a game. The banker not only handles the money, he also auctions property, collects all taxes, fines, loans and interest. The banker should have a good understanding of the rules of monopoly so that he can carry out the responsibilities properly. Calculating mortgages, rent, and bankruptcy can get confusing at times so this person has to be good at math. You should also make sure that you have a calculator handy. This will speed up the process of the game and avoid confusion and arguments.
