So now that we have a little bit about how to space out and really get the art going, what I want to do is talk about some different voicing techniques. Again, to start you should just try outlining three and seven of your chords, and then, add some rhythms, or maybe try some improv. Maybe get some more advanced chords going here. Now if you don't have a bass player, what's cool is if you outline one, three, five, seven of each chord, you get a walking bass line. And now with your right hand you can practice what you'd normally be doing with your left hand. And this is really good for getting that rhythm down. Again, the more you practice, the more voicings you get under your fingers, and the more you'll understand about listening in and playing together with a bass.
